Dog Collars & Leads
Dog leads and collars are made from the same materials - English bridle leather with solid brass fittings, and to the same standards as all our products.
They are made primarily for strength, prcticality and longevity - the fact that they are also beautiful is purely incidental!
Our collars are available in a range of sizes - these are neck sizes; so please if possible measure your dog before ordering.
A dog collar should ride in the middle of your dog's neck. It should be comfortable with enough room to fit two fingers between your pet's neck and the collar.
If you find your dog's size falls between two of our sizes just e-mail, or leave a message in the box and we'll make a collar to your exact measurement
Leads are around 48 inches long overall (shorter with plaited leads). If you require any other length, again, just let us know, and we'll make exactly what you want. Please bear in mind, though, that a lead any longer than 48 inches will probably need a splice (join). This will be just as strong as the leather, and unobtrusively show as two lines of hand stitching. We may charge a little extra for this.
